RN & Visionary
God gave me a vision of diverse business women, whether in the home or outside of the home, working together -- Sharing their God given talents to encourage, teach, inspire and support each other in personal growth and in resources. My desire is to encourage and strengthen the whole woman -- in exhortation, higher learning opportunities and in resources. This Summit will provide women with an opportunity to promote their business and share their creative ideas.
Cheryl is Director of IT for FedEx Services. She is dedicated to working in the community and mentoring the next generation of leaders and volunteers through various middle and high school programs. Cheryl has received numerous awards and most recently the 2020 Jacksonville State University Alumni of the Year, 2018 Dallas business Journal Women in Technology Award, as well as a one of D DEO Magazine 2018 500 most Powerful leaders in the DFW area. Cheryl has two adult children, Alexandria and Rashad and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

Karen Conrad-Metcalf is an entrepreneur, speaker, author, trainer, and consultant whose passion is in bringing "vision to reality" for her business and others' -- specializing in bringing businesses and ministries to the next level with proven results. With over 32 years of executive experience and successful business entrepreneurship, Karen is capitalizing on her vision to see others prosper in the business and ministry realm. A well-sought after business executive, Karen looks for potential and opportunity and sees multiplication in results. Karen trains business owners, corporate teams and executives at home and on the international front to produce “results that speak” for their businesses and ministries.
Ronda Robinson is the owner of Carmine Communications, a public relations, media training and corporate event planning company. She is also the owner of a podcast entitled "Solutions", which introduces new businesses to the community and serves as a platform to discuss the challenges some business owners face.
Ronda has worked as a Consumer television reporter and anchor. She has accepted numerous awards from various community and service organizations.
In 2001 and 2002 Ronda received Associated Press Awards for her coverage of the Tom Blanton and Bob Cherry murder trials. Blanton and Cherry were convicted for their parts in the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing that killed four little girls in 1963.
Before coming to a Birmingham television station in 2000, Ronda worked as both a Reporter and Anchor for television stations in North Carolina, Florida and South Carolina. Ronda is a very active volunteer in her community and a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Grab a coffee and chat with us! We’ll tell you about the adventure of Faith our Father has had us on since we got married 24 years ago! A journey that took us to minister in a Bible School and church for 4 years in Mexico City, to help start and pastor a church in Vancouver, British Columbia for 10 years and now have started and pastor a church in Birmingham Alabama. A journey that has brought us to Brad’s beautiful daughter and to having and homeschooling five kiddos together. In the last 6 years we have also started a few businesses, bringing a whole new aspect to our varied and colorful adventure of Faith! Handy Man, Coffee Roasting, an online Spanish Academy and a health coaching business keeps us learning and growing in an entrepreneurial spirit. Our new joint venture, online teaching webinars and events for marriages and families, is getting off the ground this year!
Dr. Robert Wood Nesbitt
Dr. Robert Nesbitt was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. His great-grandfather was William Morris the sixth mayor of Birmingham, Alabama. Morris Avenue was named after him. He was accepted into the University of Alabama for pre-med, where he also played football for Bear Bryant. He then matriculated to University of Alabama Birmingham Medical School, where he finished in Anesthesiology. After residency, he moved to Cullman, Alabama and started a pain practice at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He later moved to Birmingham, Alabama to start a pain practice at St. Vincent’s Hospital in the Neurospine Center. He has since opened up another practice on campus to offer more opportunities to help people in pain. He is been married to his wife Lisa for forty years! They have three children and four grandchildren and one on the way.
He enjoys Cycling, Golfing, Hiking, traveling, and fishing.
Susan is a speaker, minister, entrepreneur, real estate trainer and accountant. She is passionate about seeing people fulfill their God given dreams. She wants to encourage them to dream bigger and go for all that God has put in their heart and hand to do. She is currently an Associate Broker and Transaction Partner at Keller Williams Realty - Metro South where she has a successful real estate business as well as trains and encourages new agents on the tools and systems to launch their new real estate business. Susan is often recognized as a top producer in her office.
Dr. Derrick D. Jordan
Dr. Jordan is the Pastor of Hope Everlasting Ministry “The Hem.” Dr. Jordan has been married to his wife, LaTanya G. Jordan for 27 years. Together, they have two children, Alexis and Abigail. When he is not preaching, Dr. Jordan excels in pharmaceutical sales. He has over 20 years of experience in the industry. Dr. Jordan obtained a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Jacksonville State University, a Master of Ministry, a Doctorate of Ministry and a Doctor of Theology from Andersonville Baptist Seminary. In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, reading and building relationships throughout the community.
Carlton is a licensed Attorney who founded Regency Title & Escrow over twenty-three years ago. He was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. He spent his undergraduate career at Tennessee State University and received his MBA at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. He obtained his law degree at Seaton Hall School of Law. Carlton is a retired Air Force Officer as well as a husband and father of two.
