God gave me a vision of diverse business women, whether in the home or outside of the home, working together -- Sharing their God given talents to encourage, teach, inspire and support each other in personal growth and in resources. My desire is to encourage and strengthen the whole woman -- in exhortation, higher learning opportunities and in resources. This Summit will provide women with an opportunity to promote their business and share their creative ideas.
Cheryl is Director of IT for FedEx Services. She is dedicated to working in the community and mentoring the next generation of leaders and volunteers through various middle and high school programs. Cheryl has received numerous awards and most recently the 2020 Jacksonville State University Alumni of the Year, 2018 Dallas business Journal Women in Technology Award, as well as a one of D DEO Magazine 2018 500 most Powerful leaders in the DFW area. Cheryl has two adult children, Alexandria and Rashad and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.

David Porter and his wife, Lauren, reside in Birmingham, Alabama where David is the owner of a thriving Farmers Insurance Agency. David has multiple college degrees and extensive post-graduate training in insurance and financial services and has worked in the industry for over eighteen years. David’s agency has been consistently recognized as an industry leader through multiple national (five Agent of the Year awards) and international honors (selection to Million Dollar Round Table). But what gives David the most satisfaction is knowing he has been successful helping others meet their financial goals and dreams. In the ever-changing world of insurance and financial planning, David works diligently through continuing education to remain current on new products and services.
David Porter’s book Juror Number One and the Alternate Retirement Plan, intends to continue what he does daily - educate the general public and give insight into the often-confusing world of financial services. Written in a fun and humorous way, subjects such as Mutual Funds, IRAs, 401k plans, Life Insurance, Stocks and Bonds are explored and explained. David is also the published author of the Christian fiction novel, Five Minutes to Live.
Cassandra Greer is a Vice-President at Regions Financial Corporation where she works in Commercial Banking as a Treasury Management Relationship Manager. As a Treasury Management Professional, Cassandra takes great pride in helping clients improve their daily liquidity, payables and receivables process. Her primary focus is to educate her clients on the importance of growing and protecting their assets by offering an array of Treasury Management products. Cassandra received a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, while raising a family and working full time. In 2012 she was nominated for Who’s Who in Alabama. Cassandra also received Regions’ Top Associate Honor, the Better Life Award in July 2012 for her outstanding dedication, job performance, involvement, and commitment to the community. Cassandra is a member of the Accounting and Financial Women’s Alliance, Alabama Associationfor Financial Professionals, the National Associations of Accountants and Children’s of Alabama Committee for the Future. Cassandra also serves on the Board of Directors for Girl Inc of Central Alabama. A native of Birmingham, AL, Cassandra is the wife of Lawrence J. Greer, the proud mother of three beautiful children, Lawrence Troydell, KeKoria Shardae, angel Zachary Jaylonand the grandmother to beautiful Imani Ja’Niece.

A native of Birmingham, AL., she was educated in the Birmingham City school system. She obtained her BA in Communication and Speech from the University of Montevallo. She holds a MSHRM from Webster University and has a certification in Training and Development from the University of Alabama.
A Human Resources practitioner with 20 years of experience, Montiqua skillfully uses her profession as a platform to break barriers, motivate, inspire and encourage others to greatness. She offers various services including: in-person and virtual seminars, trainings, brainstorming sessions, DE&I programming, mentoring sessions through “It Matters with Montiqua” or just engaging in candid conversations with those in need of career guidance.
Whether it’s working with displaced employees to find new opportunities or researching law to impact change, Montiqua has committed her life to removing barriers and optimizing the potential of others.
Her community involvement includes: Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Birmingham, Board of Directors for BSHRM, Board member for Sister Cities, Advisory Board member for Lawson State Community College- Hospitality program, advisory member for Prison Fellowship and serving on the Second Chance committee with the District Attorney of Jefferson County, where she supports re-entry efforts for previously incarcerated individuals. She is also a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Apryl entered the financial world as a mortgage loan officer and has held positions as a mortgage underwriter, processor, commercial underwriter and a commercial banker. Apryl is a former assistant Vice President of BankCorp South, a Mississippi Based financial institution.
Apryl is the Author of the Book “52 weeks to fall in Love with your money”, a guide to help you on the journey to discover your financial soul mate. Apryl is the founder of the wealthy women’s savings club, where she teaches women the ins and outs of investing in the market.
